My Story
Wil Schorre successfully managed a cow/calf ranching operation while attending college. Upon graduation in 1996, he moved to Estes Park, Colorado. While living in Estes Park he obtained his broker's license in real estate and began his career with the Prudential Real Estate Team. He also founded and served as Vice President of O & S Utility Construction, which concentrated on the installation of underground fiber optic cable systems throughout Colorado and Wyoming.
In 1999 Wil joined forces with a division of Centext Homes in Fort Collins, Colorado where he specialized in land acquisition and the construction of custom homes on equestrian estates in rural areas of Larimer and Weld Countries. Wil thereafter accepted a position with the international home builder KB Home in 2001. During the next six years he aided KB Home in the planning, sales, and construction of 700+ homes in eight new communities from Fort Collins to North Denver. In 2005 he was on the team that was responsible for the oversight of construction projects totaling in excess of $33 million.
In 2007 he received an opportunity to demolish and rebuild the former home of musician, Doug Clifford of Credence Clear Water Revival. The home, located in Incline Village Lake Tahoe, was purchased and the demolition and remodel began. This wonderful custom home is now valued in excess of $7 million. Over the next three years Wil continued to build custom homes in the Incline Village area.
After a successful career in Lake Tahoe, Wil took a position in Aspen, Colorado to manage the construction of custom homes and landscapes. During this four-year period, Wil completed over $25 million in projects throughout the Roaring Fork Valley.
After Aspen, Wil returned to Fort Collins and worked with a large construction company where he was the Project Manager who oversaw construction of hundreds of homes for D.R. Horton and Lennar Homes.
Wil's success is due to his dedication to hard work, a relentless pursuit of quality, and his belief that the customer's involvement in the construction process is key to the success of the project. Wil is now looking forward to combining his 25 years of experience to help clients achieve their dreams here at home in Northern Colorado with Schorre Home & Ranch Property Improvement Services.
Wil lives on his family farm outside Wellington, Colorado. Wil loves the outdoors and is an equestrian enthusiast.
